Picked up my wife's new ride

This evening.

It is a new Ford Edge in SEL trim. It is a left over 2014, and she traded in her 2012 Focus.

The Edge is AWD, and will not get near the mpg that the Focus did, but at least she will not have to drive my truck all winter when it snows.

We are also planning a trip to Texas this Spring, and the Edge will be a lot more comfortable to drive long distances.

    I rented a 2013 Edge SEL AWD for a trip up to Reno and back, I put 1200 miles on it in 4 days. I found it to be very comfortable over the distance as well as being nice and roomy for the stuff we were carrying. It had plenty of power and passing slower cars was drama free, plus it held cruse with no issue going over the passes. The only issue I had with it was that it only averaged 21 mpg over the trip.
