CHILI

I'm wondering....

Am I a chili-junkie.?

After two meals, I'm little over 1/3rd through a bottle of HOT AS! Chili Explosion Sauce. (even close to halfway through)

It's the sauce that won the "Australian Fiery Food Awards"

A cowboy walks into a seedy cafe in Saratoga , Wyoming .
He sits at the counter and notices an old cowboy with his arms folded
staring blankly at a full bowl of chili.
After fifteen minutes of just sitting there staring at it, the young
cowboy bravely asks the old cowpoke,
`If you ain't gonna eat that, mind if I do?'
The older cowboy slowly turns his head toward the young wrangler and in
his best cowboy manner says, `Nah, you go ahead.'
Eagerly, the young cowboy reaches over and slides the bowl over to his
place and starts spooning it in with delight.
He gets nearly down to the bottom and notices a dead mouse in the chili.
The sight was very shocking and he immediately barfs up the chili back
    into the bowl.

The old cowboy quietly says, `Yep, that's as far as I got, too.'

    Have you tried "Hogs *"?

    It's got heat!

    Can't say that I have.

I believe the HOG'S * I saw, was with Garlic and vinegar - I'm more to the non-garlic/non-vinegar-sour-taste, and more to the chili-taste.

HOT AS! only has 5 of 10 stars on the HEAT scale, but 7 stars of 10 on the TASTE-scale.

    You are correct garlic/vinegar.

We stopped in this place a few years back and saw some of these...

2600 for hot sauce? no thanks!

And I'd say.... 2.600$... and NOT BLOODY LIKELY.!! hehe.

I know I'm probably only an experienced amateur, maybe even a novice mediocre chili-eater... but this stuff has knocked plenty of friends on their butt.
I guess it's precicely my taste :P I love it.

The SHIRACHA is milder, but I can't use very much of that.

The HOT AS! is just very nicely balanced :)

I tried some sauce called "* In The Tub" a while back. Tasted great, but the day and a half spent camped out near the bathroom wasn't especially great.

Similarly, I like Siracha, but I need something hotter. I blend it with some other hot sauces to get that heat.

We visited Peppers of Key West when down there. Really cool shop. They have every sauce that they sell in bowls with chips and celery. You can hang out in there and eat chips/celery and sauce all day if you want. They also serve beer!!!

I like HOT AS! because I can stand it - but like the hotter too, just for the fun of it.
