    If the hamburger is cheap at a store with good meat, we may buy 15 or 20 pounds. Generally brown it, often with onions, so it's ready for chili of hamburger helper and keeps longer in the freezer. Also patty some up, sometimes with onion soup mix or a can of rotel, put them on a cookie sheet to freeze then place in a zip lock bag, work great on the grill when you come in tired, fire up the grill on the way in the house, grab a bag out of the freezer and a beer out of the fridge.
