    Vets receiving means-tested benefits should be aware that VA checks with Social Security every year to verify that your wages don't exceed your maximum allowable amount.

    I had a old friend who was a vet and had to go to assisted living and this little bit helped him stay in the facility. Some older vets fall thru the cracks so just posting for those older vets when their savings or pensions won't keep the wolf out
