AT&T is leaving the Dow Jones Industrial Average and being replaced with APPLE.[:0][:0][:0]

Guess it was TIME FOR A CHANGE !!!!

    I'm sure that the same thing was said when the first of the original stocks were removed from the DOW:

    The American Cotton Oil Company
    Distilling & Cattle Feeding Co.
    North American Company
    The American Sugar Refining Company
    General Electric Company
    Tennessee Coal
    Iron and Railroad Company
    American Tobacco Company
    The Laclede Gas Company
    The United States Leather Company
    Chicago Gas Light and Coke Company
    National Lead Company
    United States Rubber Company




    United States Rubber is being remove form the DOW? You wanted change? Well I hope all of you McKinley voters are happy!

    This is entertainment (for me). Saw this post and thought WHAT COMPANIES WERE ON THE DOW AND WHEN DID THEY GET THE BOOT.

    Unbelievable: Wikipedia has a NICE listing,, all the oldie but goodies, Kodak, Alcoa, Sears,, etc. in an easy to read list.

    AT&T was dropped twice,, something happened when AT&T / SBC merged,, ???? Pretty sure they won't get a third chance.

    My wife took early retirement from AT&T....Today,she chewed on them about an untimely rate hike...they lowere her bill,and gave her a rebate... I dropped AT&T wireless 6 monthes ago for Verizon...and saved 900.00 dollars for a year...on three IPHONES...Love my 6+....Better service in the country...[:o)]
