Do any of you live near Black River Falls? My wife and I might bemoving there in the near future and need some help finding housing that meets our needs.
We need something where cats are ok with at least 2 bedrooms and a garage, all for around $750/mo. It can be upwards of 40 miles away from BRF.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am up by Eau Claire and if BRF is anywhere near the same prices(and I don't see why it would be more, although I have been wrong before) you shouldn't have a problem with those criteria.
We rented for a few years in Eau Claire and then a couple in Chippewa Falls. In CF, we had a 2 bedroom apartment with a 3rd bedroom/office room and a 1 car garage with plenty of extra storage for $525/month. That also included an extra pet fee tacked on.
I would think if you could find something North of BRF, you would probably get by the cheapest. Maybe something in between Osseo and Hixton? Just a guess though.

You get a job in BRF?
No. But I'm going to be calling Jackson Correctional tomorrow to find out if they have any openings.
As in inmate or guard positions?

Hmm.... Lets just engage our brains for a second or two and think about this some more.

You first! Don
my Uncle was the Pastor of a small church in Lublin, and worked the area of Sheldon and Jump River. I love that area of Wisconsin, been to Thorpe many times and enjoy eating at the Thorpeto
You must know the Cornell/Holcombe area then?
That is where I grew up. [:)]
Jon
Yep my Uncle had property on the Holcombe Flowage. He and my Grandad spent many years up there on the water. Dont forget Caddot, the halfway mark between the Equator and the North Pole.
Yes sir! [:p]
I still drive through there from time-to-time.

I think they still have that big rocking chair on 27 just south of the bridge
Last I remember it was still there. The building it sits in front of was Fritz Furniture. My father-in-law worked there for many years and eventually took over running it and renting the building. The economy put them out of business a few years ago though. [:(]
If you are heading North and take a right just before you get to that rocker(right by the golf course) and go down the road about 2 miles, that is where I spent most of my young years hunting.
BTW, sorry to kind of steal your thread Zulu. [:I] Just getting carried away BSing here. [:D]
