Looking to buy an AK

Before Obama gets elected I figured I would add to my collection of those deadly and crime causing rifles.....I am looking for a AK and looking to spend 500-800. Who makes a good AK in that price range, I don't know much about them, I have been more of an AR kind of guy. So opinions would be appreciated.

Thank in advance
Mike

For the low end of that price range look at the STG 2000, for the higher end look for a used Arsenal or a CZ VZ58

I've been happy with my WASR also, but they are quickly increasing in price due to political issues in Romania.

    Thanks for the advice guys.

And d_t right now if you ask me that question I would have to say AR....I just think over all its a more accurate and better looking weapon. But since I already have the AR I figured might as well get the AK. But maybe after I buy the AK and shoot it for a while my opnion may change and I might tell you to buy the AK first.....LOL....sorry I am not much help.
