I think you are serious about this one. I've seen locked accounts before, but this is the first time I've seen you kill a user name. [:D]
I looked at her profile. Her user name is n/a now. It looks like her other posts have gone away too. She ain't just locked or gone, she never existed. [:D] [:D] [:D]

The road to hell is paved with COMPROMISE.

CaptFun did the rest, after I told him what I had done.
I had just finished typing some of my best stuff. Quite possibly the most brilliant post to ever hit the internet. Then I hit "post new reply" and got the dreaded "There's a problem" message. [:D]
Hate it when that happens and it has, a couple of times.[:D]

internet? probably not. GB Forum? plausible.
Don
To serve as as an example or guideline if you will, there should be a list of recently locked, poofed or put to death topics.[;)][:D]
What did I miss??? "She"....which she???
I don't remember what her user name was, but it's "n/a" now. If you look for "n/a" on the member list, she's the one with 17 posts, and her LAST POST was today. [:D]
I don't think you'll find any of the 17 posts, by the way.

You think that's bad? There have been times when I was typing a brief reply to lock a thread and when I clicked the "Post New Reply" button, I got that message. Someone else beat me to the punch.
Some people just cant walk past a WET PAINT sign without poking...[;)]
[:D]...and to think that several here dont believe CaptFun was serious about his new rule, and care to push it.

I wonder what this switch operates.............[:D][:D]
I guess if you dont believe CaptFun acted in a proper or honest manner, you're perfectly free to email him and let him know that...[;)]
I have NO idea what this is all about,......and actually I don't care![:D][;)]
what people really think of US politics?
Member got on here some time ago, and made a few innocuous posts on several threads, just to give him/her an air of credibility. Then, some months later, the member resurrected a thread about payday loans, and went to work trying to sell them.
I did my job, and CaptFun did his, when he found out that this member wasn't registered on the auction site.
The member was posting a link to a website that offers on-line payday loans. Big no-no.

Far more helpful than Colt's explanation.
Thanks
The individual had their own agenda and it was not beneficial to anyone but themselves and dishonest to boot. Good action by all GB staff involved with putting the stop to the scam, hopefully that sort of action will continue more frequent and speedily. Great call.[^]

Helpful? I wasnt trying to be helpful.
I wasnt aware that James was asking for an explanation since
I dont see James question asking for help or an explanation in any of his above posts.
...hope this helps...[;)]

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
It's a way to do an end-around the bot scanner.
I think this is correct. Joe
