Lever gun in 500S&W

Has anyone produced one yet? Seem's like the ultimate brush gun. Or even on in 460S&W.

Honestly, its not a very good looking gun, if it with wood instead of (what looks like) synthetic rubber/plastic foregrip and stock.

I'm leaning toward one in Stainless Steel, what you found is a modified Marlin (and there is nothing wrong with that).

No thanks. Whats the advantage? Plenty of lever-action rifle rounds with better ballistics than the .500 S&W. If you want to carry a rifle and revolver that use the same ammunition then get a Marlin .45-70 and a Magnum Research .45-70 single-action revolver. You can buy both for $600 - $700 less than they want for just the .50 S&W carbine.

I totally agree. Why fix it if it aint broke??? 45/70 still is a more versitile round.

I wonder how a 460 would fair. The only problem would be the ballistic tip bullets in a tube magazine.

I would'nt touch that Marlin chambered in 460 S&W or 500 S&W. These 2 cartridges are SAAMI spec'd at 60,000 PSI.

I'd ruther one in .454, so you could have a companion handgun that didn't need wheels.
