China Cell Phones

Early in this week it came out that three recent models of BLU cell phones contain a tracker which sends copies of text messages back to a web address in Xhina.
The company says it removed the tracker, and it provided a means to verify that.
( I own two of these that are used as security cams, and for European travel. And I gifted two others. }
The US Govt has had their eye on ZTE over its hardware imports for switches and routers, plus its phones. But BLU is a sub of Gionee.

I personally know someone who works for a company that tests devices for some of the major carriers. EVERY single Chinese phone that comes through their lab has the hardware broken so that the GPS stays on even when the phone reports that it is off and this happens at a hardware level that hides the fact that the GPS is ON from the Android OS. Whenever this is reported, these Chinese companies always just turn it off while testing only to turn it back on later. Why are we allowing a country that is trying to destroy us to control all of our communications devices? This is complete insanity on the part of the major carriers and the US government period.

don't own one or want one, I have a land line at home and at work if you can't get me at either one it will wait till I get home, it has worked for almost the past 60 years and I don't see a reason to change. If they can hack into my home phone more power to them, about all they will hear is me cussing out the people who call trying to sell junk....[xx(]
Get off my lawn you little bassterds!!! If a man was meant to fly he'd be born with wings says grandpa! [:D][:D][;)]
