Just something I noticed

In years past, when I was someones employee, the clock just seemed to move with glacial speed and it took forever to make it to the end of the day and punch out. Since I became self employed, the day goes by with lightning speed and I find myself surprised when quitting time comes. Curious how the time seems to vary .

Agree with all said above and add that when we get older, we lose a lot of our short term memory.

That just makes time seem to go by very quickly.

When I was working at Shoney's Big Boy Restaurant while I was going to high school back in the mid 60s I could see the clock in clock from where I was washing dishes. The hands on the clock looked like they were stuck. It seemed to take for ever for time to clock out.

These days it seems I meet myself on the way to taking the garbage can to the end of my driveway for the weekly pickup. Days go by like the pages of a calendar in the wind.
