While the news is a couple of days old from the U.S. Open, I just saw the video. I guess there is truth in the old saying that you can take the girl out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the girl.
It's too late for me, save yourself.

I can understand how a hyped up athlete can go bonkers and act like a bit of a fool in the heat of the moment......sort of....at this level there should be a little more control, but I get it.

What I DO NOT get is how the crowd BOOED the gal that won.....who does that??? Things went against their feelings so they get to act any way they want???

The gal from Japan that won was APOLOGIZING to everyone for winning.

    That is crazy!

The judge was a Spanish woman...
The winner was a Japanese woman...

But it's the white mans fault. Got it.

What utter BS. She acted like a jerk.
She won $1.5 mil for finishing second so I doubt the fine bothered her much.

Of course, today MSNBC and CNN figured out that she is a victim of SEXISM.

I heard a little bit of this. I started to laugh when she(?) said she was fighting for "women's rights". Playing a game making crap ton of cash is women's rights? I say roid rage. Also bringing McEnroe's past antics and trying to spin it as white privilege. She makes more than he ever did. Take a knee Nike will be by right quick with a fat check.

As for the Japanese girl apologizing for winning. You sure she ain't Canadian?

roid rage. I think you are on to something there yoshmyster.

Both of those Williams gals look like they are shooting steroids and/or testosterone. They got some big biceps. I think they could play in the NFL.

I am serious I think both of them are on the stuff, if bicycle guys do it why not tennis players?

I thought she was perfectly within her right to call the umpire a thief. He was all puffed up with himself and the power he wields. But you find those individuals in all walks of life.

Just another example of why main stream media, especially CNN, MSNBC, and NYT, are pure political garbage and leftist DEMOCRAT hate spreading propaganda.

Assumptions, bias agenda spreading opinions, unconfirmed/unsubstantiated sources of information, deceit, subterfuge, and intentional divisive tactics are used to communicate what these people deem as news. Anything but facts and truth.

I can only assume the race card will follow the sexist card if it hasn't been already.

    Agreed.

I do not pretend to know the referee's motivations, but the penalty was over the top, and comparisons to the antics of other tennis players that were given lessor or no penalties for worse behavior are legitimate.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.
