What's the chances of this ever happening?

Especially on a Friday evening. At approx. 6:00 PM this evening I was on my computer and I noticed that it was getting hot in the house. I ask my wife why did you turn the A/C off? She said I've not touched it. I think to myself, OH NO, it's Friday evening and the temperature is in the 90s and the A/C has decided to take a crap! No way we'll get anybody to fix it until Monday or Tuesday.
I look up some companies on Angie's list in our area and pick one out and gave them a call. I called Nail Heating and Air in Hampton, GA and someone actually answered the phone. I give the girl my phone number and she said someone would contact me shortly. I think to myself, yeah I bet. Well sure enough in less than 10 minutes a service guy calls and I explain my problem and give him my address. He said I just happen to be driving on the road that you live on now. What luck! He pulls into the driveway almost immediately. I didn't even have time to get my shoes on.
He took a look at the outside unit and then goes to his truck and comes back with the part that crapped out and installed it, buttoned it back up and was gone in 45 minutes.
That was hard to believe. I've never had luck like that before. The price was reasonable to at $286.34. I would have paid 3 times that to keep from sitting in the sweltering heat over the weekend until Monday or Tuesday.
The service guy was a young guy, clean cut, in his mid 20s that was very professional and knew his stuff and didn't try to sell me a bunch of BS like I've had happen in the past with other HVAC companies.
I gave him a pretty good tip because he deserved it. Not all young people are horses *.

I had heard of that company, they drive around and pick a house. They have their technician sneak out and change the good capacitor in your outside unit for one that's bad making the air-conditioning in-operable they then drive a little ways down the road and wait for the phone call to fix it. The kicker is they replace the defective capacitor back with your original capacitor so you really don't get a new one, and they don't have to buy parts.

Did he happen to tell you what part crapped out? Ours has a capacitor that goes out every so often, found them online for a song and have an extra on hand, just in case.
Dual capacitor # 073951-0032. You are right they are cheap. I'm going to order me a couple to have on hand too.
