..this morning? they were discussing the proposed "AR-15 ammo" ban, and to illustrate they showed piles of .22 rimfire ammo. morons.

    I wonder if they figure a bullet is a bullet , I guess THATS better than showing a pile of 50 cal ammo

    Well at least they finally got it right. Those are the dreaded Assault Rifle Armor Piercing Cop Killer Bullets we've all heard about.

    What ever will the criminals do when they outlaw the AR-15 round? I guess they'll just have to give up their life of crime unless they use some of these rounds below. But I expect the crime rate to at least decrease by 90% by outlawing that god awful round for the AR-15. Way to go you genius law makers you've done it again!!!!

    They missed that one. .... Anyone desiring such ammo for evil purposes, can find a way !

    I guess ATF forgot about the tens of thousands machinists out there.

    The U.S. is a great place to own firearms in comparison to the rest of the world.
    Colombia has tough restrictions: Ammo,, need to buy from the police, with permit. Guns (pistols, shotguns, etc) limited but with permit, concealed carry, with permit.

    Not sure this has reduced violence or murder,, who knows, could have been worse but how will you know.

    This is a PARTIAL cutout about Colombia gun laws from a site that has a complete listing of laws for most if not all countries.

    I'm sure the criminals are bummed out having to get a permit to buy their ammo so you know it has to have cut crime in half at least! icon_rolleyes.gif
