How is the Sheriff asking fairgoers not to bring the Confederate flag an infringement on anyone's rights? Public officials can ask anything they want, it is when they make law or give orders restricting its use that makes it an infringement. Much to do about nothing.

Here is where I have a problem with this:

1. Who is the Sheriff "asking" to do something? Not the violent people but the peaceful ones displaying a flag.

2. Why is he not asking the violent people to be calm, its just a flag, get over it.

Because he is a racist. He thinks that the whites will follow his instructions and heed his advise so everyone will be peaceful at the fair. He knows that the negroes will act out and destroy the fair over any perceived slight.

How do I know the race? I am racist and checked other news services.[:0]

So the people doing nothing illegal by displaying their flags are the ones inciting the violence? Again, the real haters and violent criminals get a pass and it's the victim's fault.

While I agree that he addressed the wrong group, he is not racist, but rather a race coward.

Had he made the simple request that people not react violently to the attire worn by or a flag carried by some, he would be called a racist by the race pimps.

If you want your fair to be non-violent, one would think you would address those that may be come violent.
