only 30,000 miles for a good price I only need AWD if I have to go to my Mom's in the winter time and hauling needs are light anyways

very nice ride , temptation has pulled at me a few times when looking at them
as you say a new loaded truck is well just nuts but I guess leasing is the most popular way any more .
I have settled on just finding a nice used now finding it difficult to find clean low mileage pickup .
Very nice looking one.
Is the gas tank leaking?

No they washed it,
Nice , BUT you better hope the gas stays low[;)]
It gets about the same as my 2500hd 4 x 4 crewcab
Very Nize!! Now that is doing it in style [8D]. Screw gas prices sometimes you just can't compromise!! Besides you're not commuting anyways, right? What was your dad's car?

Now if it was a true Hummer I would be impressed.
Sorry to say but that model is nothing more than a suburban with another body on it.

A little bit of research shows that the chassis begins life as a suburban frame but is dramatically altered. According to what I have read the H2 has its own specially designed frame. Not exactly a suburban with a different body on it.
The H2 chassis is a three-piece, fully welded, boxed ladder-type frame with hydro formed components in a number of locations to maximize strength while limiting weight.
Though the H2 began life using more of a Suburban frame, the final frame assembly is made up of 3 sections. The front uses a modified GM 2500-Series utility frame. The mid-section is ALL NEW and is completely boxed. The rear section uses a modified GM 1500-Series frame which is upgraded for 8000 pound gross vehicle weight. Front and rear receiver mounts with 9000 pound winch capability are integrated into the frame. The rear hitch has an estimated 7000 pound capacity.
"We share chassis and steering components with the heavy-duty 2500-Series Suburban and the 1500 Suburban," says Charlie Martin, the vehicle systems engineer for the Hummer H2 chassis and drivetrain. "But most of those shared parts have been heavily modified."

I'm sure he'll cry himself to sleep knowing it didn't meet your standards...

Never owned one as all mine were painted green Camo.
Wish I had that .
But I've got my truck if I need to haul things, I've put a 1000lb rotating crane, with a electric winch, I use that to pick up my tank chair, put it in the truck to go hunting or fishing. I can pull my cars around with either.
I like the hummer, I've got to drive a H1, got to admit it was really nice, but it rode a little stiffer, this H2 rides great, better than my truck..
My wife first wanted me to get a minivan, I guess see saw the light after a test ride, I told her, before we got there, if she did not like it, just tell me, we would go home without it. She liked it. I got a extended warranty 100k 5 years, bumper to bumper.

dont ask, don't tell.
I had a APC as my shop truck in Germany, during wing exercises I was on the Wing Inspection Team, had a rack for Ground Brust Simulators, 4 wheel drive, solid tires.
Wish I had that .

Gotta take those nerf bars off.
Hell no, how do you think I get in, you got to remember I'm disabled[:(]
