    Good
The only problems I have heard of or had are

The Left bolt lug is not machined properly and headspace can increase.
I check mine with a Field gauge after every match. one went long after 8000 rds and 2 barrels. Two others are over 9000 and no problems.

The rear sights can have poor steel-Replace it with a Garand sight.

The trigger group is not as smooth as USGI. Have it worked or replace it.

They are fine as long as you pay $300 to $350 (I paid $275 for one about ten years ago). Remember, they are Chinese made copies and were technically made from the cheapest materials available. If you pay more than $350, I have some ocean front property in Arizona that I know you would just love too. [:D]

    Sorry but you are wrong
I listed the only three problems you will likely find on these.
The rear sight is the most common and is an easy fix

My 2 daughters and I have over 40,000 rds down the tubes on these.
    I am speaking from experience.

One for sale locally for $850 here. I thought it was a little high but still fair considering the market. of course dealers and pawn guys would only offer you $300 for one if you are lucky.

The one I sold here on Gun Broker not long ago ended at $1100. I have another Polytec with an amazing stock that I have given to my husband. When they were made I heard the bolt was too soft and that lead to problems, but if you switch that part with a Springfield bolt (like I have with ours) it works fine......not that I HAD to replace it....it was working fine, but piece of mind is worth the little effort it takes to do this.

BUY IT.....they are getting more and more expensive and prices on these types of things NEVER go down. I would buy it for that even if it were just to list it on Gun Broker.

They sell for $495.00 new retail in Canada but thanks to Klinton they are not allowed to be imported to the US even by US citizens who purchase them legally in Canada.

They are good firearms but they are not Springfield M1A's.

Have shot both and othernthan fit and finish there is not much diffrernce other than the price.
