Finally got my FIL moved in with us. He is bad off

Moved him in Saturday. So Sunday he wanted me to go on a beer run.
I go to the Dollar General store and get a 12 pack of Bush. His choice.

At check out there was a trailer park trash woman in front of me and as she checked out her two 13? year old daughters pushed and took turns farting at each other, the mother ignored them. As she checked out, her girls were next to the counter trying on the different nail polishes that were in a rack. I told her clerk and he asked them if they were using the makeup. They ignored him and walked out.
The good part comes up, I set the 12 pack of Bush on the counter and the guy asks for ID to buy the beer. I am 68 year old!

I left there pissed.

    i remember showing an ID at 27 for a R rated movie..been downhill ever since

    I had a large load of groceries in a cart at Kroger a few months ago. The kid asked me for an I.D. for the case of beer after he rang up everything. I thought he was kidding (I'm 78) and walked out.

    Depends on the state and locale.

    When my wife was a the manager at the Class 6 (package) store on base, it was required that every person was carded. No option.

    If they ask for my ID, I just show it and I am 54 and damn well don't look under 21.

    Sounds like they've been caught for underage sales, that usually happens around here when they get caught a couple of times. The managers stress that everybody, EVERYBODY gets I.D.ed
