New Apple Watch - Winner or Loser

Apple will hold a conference today at 1pm. $350 for the "inexpensive" watch.

Personally I'll never buy one but what about younger persons? Buying one for the kids?

Apple has pre-ordered, as I recall, 6 or 7 million watches. Think they might sell out quick but to who?

Great,....something else for these maroons to stare at while driving instead of watching the road.[xx(]

The radio new this morning stated that you have to have your iPhone with you or the watch does nothing but tell time.

Probably more advanced than blue-tooth, but in general, is sounds like a blue-tooth repeater for your phone.

No telephone, no text, no email, no GPS, no nuthin without the iPhone on your person.

I fail to see the point.

I see fewer and fewer young people even wearing a watch. Most seem to use their cell phone for the time.

The Apple watch is more of an interface with your smart phone, kind of a remote receiver so you don't have to walk around with your phone in your hand all the time[xx(].

I don't have a smart phone and I don't want one so I doubt I will be getting a apple phone.

Saw on a news report this morning that said less than 7% of i-phone users surveyed said they would be interested in buying the i-watch.

When I wear a watch it's my Great Grandpa's pocket watch and it's 119 years old. I'm bettin' these Apple watches won't be around a hundred years from now.

That is a nice REAL watch. New "stuff" might be "cool" or is it Hot !! but I don't think the companies with people to CRAFT REAL watches exist Probably, but WAY out of my price range.

Well,, what I wanted to post. This is EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about the new Apple watches.

Better hurry,, there is a GOLD model and it's going FAST.

I don't wear a watch anymore. Haven't for years. I suppose I'll read up on this new widget out of curiosity. That's about it.

I do a lot of hiking and use several apps that use GPS for distance and altitude so I can see the benefit of glancing at my wrist instead of pulling the phone out of a pocket but since their is no mention other than apple apps that work with it I think I'll hold out for the general public reviews

I stopped wearing a watch when I bought my first cell phone 15 years ago, I don't plan on going back.

Me too, but recently I got a FitBit trying to lose the last bit of weight I need to. It doubles as a watch, step tracker and heart rate monitor. Got one for MrsFun also, it has really been helping her stay on track.

And this just in.... Battery life on the crapple watch is 18 hours..... Outstanding. I thought the five days on the fitbit was slacking, but it is not waterproof so every morning when I get in the shower it goes on the charger for 15 minutes or so and is back to full.
