fiberglass truck cap leaks what product to use to paint or spray to stop leaking,,,flex seal, rustolium leakseal, any other products to use???????? perfer a clear

Recommend you stay away from clears. They all will yellow in a short time.

Go to auto parts and get a tube of the flex adhesive they use for auto glass seals.

I'd think that a clear lacquer might do the trick. In my mind be sorta like a clear coat.
Rough sand, fine sand, clean then apply.
I bought a used topper a couple years ago and the paint was flaking on it.
The auto store in town could mix up rattle can to factory paint specs. That might be another idea for you. It has a clear coat mixed in with it.

Never heard of fiberglass leaking. If you mean from around the windows, any good silicon sealant should work.

If the leak is from around the base; Home Depot (or others) stock a two-sided foam sealer tape 2-3" wide just for the purpose of sealing camper tops. If the leak is around the windows; try a tube of the sealer advertised on TV. You know, where they spray the aluminum boat with the screen door bottom. They now sell it in squeeze tubes and is supposed to be very effective. It comes in clear, white & tan in case that helps. Also available at Home Depot.

saw flex seal in the krogers as on tv dispaly i bought a can for testing the cap has been outside most of life ,,deteriorating on the top micro cracks nother there worth replacing till i get new truck
