While this morning's ruling by SCOTUS does represent a "victory" to some degree, look at the details:

1) It was a 5-4 decision. Four of our Supreme Court justices chose to ignore the Constitution. Not good, not good at all.

2) We'll have to wait for the details of the opinion, but if that opinion states the goverment still has any regulatory right with regard to RTKBA, it's unconstitutional. period.

3) The fact that four of the justices voted against the measure should be a wake up call for us all regarding the November elections, for the next POTUS is likely to submit nominees for the bench. If Obama OR MCCAIN are elected, I can assure you that the individuals they wish to see nominated will be like the "4", as opposed to the "5".

Not trying to be a wet blanket folks. I applaud the decision, but let's wait for the details of the opinion before we break out the champagne.
