I am looking to buy one of these and wonder if anyone has any experience. Would you buy it again?

I like the 10 rounds, Heine sights, and light rail. If it doesn't give reliable service though what's the use? I've read some ugly things about it's reliability.

Thanks.

From my experiance with Tuarus I wouldn't hestiate to buy anything for them. I'm surrounded by a few pistol owners, all of which seem to have a good opinion of the company. Even my dad likes them and he's got something bad to say about every company. I couldn't tell you anything about the PT 145 through, sorry.

I have a Taurus Model 85 that is a good weapon with no problems. But it is a revolver and I don't know about their semiautos.

Yes we have had the millenium pro...a few of them actually, and would buy them again....Good guns...

You will hear "ugly" things about any guns reliability, including glocks (yuck) kimbers, colts etc....It all depends on the person....If you want it, buy it, if you dont like it, it can always be traded or sold for something else....

Taurus also has an outstanding warranty..

well here is my Taurus PT-145 this was taken as soon as i got it home from the gunshop (stoped at a range on the way home) it is my carry gun and it goes everywhere with me,.. 10+1 of .45ACP is nice to have if you need it,. i had only one failure to fire,.. that was with the cheep speer ammo,.. that bullet would not fire in any of my other .45's either so it was not the guns fault.

it is a good little pistol,.. shoots everything i feed it,. recoil is not bad at all,.. my g/f likes shooting it,. if that any indication of how it shoots

i think you will be happy with it,.. if not you can always sell it or trade it in,. and yeah the warrenty rocks!

and no i do not use the Hydra-shock's anymore,.. i keep the 230gr. Winchester Ranger SXT's loaded up and ready to go.

I carry a PT111Pro which is the 9mm brother. Have had it for about a month. No hiccups at all. Fires anything I feed it and accuracy is as expected from a compact pistol. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

BTW, they fit nicely in an Uncle Mikes Kydex holster fit for an HK USP Compact.
Half of the lives they tell about me aren't true.

Thanks for the replies. It sure makes sense to talk to those who have experience with the model before making a final decision. Thanks again.
