Just purchased a new Taurus PT709 SLIM in 9mm.
Haven't been able to shoot it yet, for obvious reasons lol.

I have been doing some research on in and overall seems to be regarded as a very good handgun, wanted to hear opinions from you guys as well,
so if anyone has one would love to hear your opinions! [;)][8D]

I own an older Taurus revolver and its a great gun. I've heard that Taurus semi-autos aren't great but I don't have personal knowledge. Of couse, people also talk bad about Hi-Points and mine was great.

My nephew has one. We put a few hundred rounds through it yesterday and I loved that little pistol. We had two Failure to Fires with it that looked like light primer strikes. One of those was with his sister-in-law and one with his mother on the trigger. Neither women had shot more than a dozen rounds in their lives. I don't know, can you limp-wrist that particular pistol? The ammo was Herter's, if that makes a difference.

    Point is:

    Loved it.

Would buy it in a heartbeat
