Another night of sleeplessness

I'm starting to think I really do have insomnia. This is the 5th night in a row that I've been up this late unable to go to sleep. Maybe this sleep loss is worth a trip to the doc.

Jenn, go to the doctor. Do a clinical sleep study, you may have insomnia, sleep apnea, heavy stress, etc.

You could get some good meds and 8hrs sleep a night if you do.

Trust me, it's worth it. Nothing puts more damper on your everyday lifestyle than stress or lack of rest.

Do us all a favor and go see the doc.

I seem to have that problem as well tonight. I got to bed about 12:30, and like us old guys do, got up to take a leak at 2am and couldn't get back to sleep. Finally around 3am I said heck with this and got up.

Ever sincethe Daylight Savings change, I've been waking up around 3-ish and not able to find the "sweet spot" to fall back asleep til about half an hour before my alarm goes off at 5.
Then, by midday, I could put my head down on my desk and take a nap. And by 8pm, it's cold, it's dark, my body wants sleep, I'm ready for bed.
Happens every year, just have to let my internal clock get used to it being dark earlier.

Ya think. NO wait. That might be the problem. Are you thinking too much? Quit that. Think less.

Hey Cat. I get it bad a couple of times a year. Just got over one of the worst. I've found I can usually fix it by adding in some exercise and improving my diet. Also make sure you are taking a high potency multivitamin. I've used "stress tabs" for years. I had stopped taking them about a month ago and this latest bout of insomnia started about a week later. Added them back in and I'm sleeping much better now. Just a thought...good luck.

I'd recommend something meant as a sleep aid, before Tylenol PM.

Yep,......if you drink at all, and take Tylenol on a regular basis, you will need to sign up for the "liver" transplant list.
Tylenol is not meant for everyday use, regardless of whether you imbibe, or not.
