If you don't mind I wanted to hit you up for some knowledge....and if you do mind, tough, keep it to yourself and answer the dang questions! [:D]

    1. One of the my sales/service appts said that the return in my house is too small, that it is choking the system. Its 14X24 for a 2.5 ton system,. He said I should have a minimum of 20X20 return for a 2.5 ton system with 12 registers. Does that sound legitimate? I've had other HVAC folks out in the past, no one has ever mentioned the return being too small.

PS, answers will most definitely lead to further questions! [8D]

please add me for the wife knife giveaway

Being as I don't have a "wife" that would be a bit tough.
Are you trying to give yours away?[:D]

give me the gift card, and knife and we can call it even, but i'm not paying for shipping, you'll have to pick her up[:)]

    [:D][:D][:D]
You better hope she doesn't watch what you post, or has a real good sense of humour!
I conclude being married to you would require that![8D]

we have a different sense of humor, but she understands mine, she knows living with her is like living with peg bundy, so like any other marriage its a compromise

I'll give you a buzz later tomorrow so we can continue our chat.[;)] BTW, dinner with "the boss" last night was awesome! Had a burrito the size of my head followed by some fried ice cream. Oh...and I washed it all down with a couple Dos Equis. Mmmmmm!

Sent a couple emails back and fourth with Loko today as well. He's doing just fine (the old fart)!

Talk to you in under 24 hours![^][:D][8D]

Still no snuff? Be honest. If so Great. If not then I have one trick for you that I used at first.

    None for me since July.

Don't miss it one bit any more.

Can even smell it now and not have the urge. After 43 years of it.

Marc, how is your mom doing with that dog?????? Does she still have it? you never said if she kept it. I am trying to get my parents to buy a small dog to keep my mom company, while pop is always out hunting or something. They are very active and travel, but always had dogs. Been a few years for them. Hello, I did not want to hijack the other thread. I guess you may know something that I do not. I will trust you when you told me to "not waste my time".

That is pathetic in my opinion.

Anyway, you are still snuff free I hope.
If you are then you have it whipped. It has been long enough for your system to clean out.

Kinda' nice to have a few extra bucks and alot less "mess" ain't it.
Yesterday I was cleaning my pickup out and while shop vacing the carpet I found an old empty can under the back seat. No one is ever back there, so I was surprised to find it. Anyway, the lid had come off and there was a bunch of dried up snuff in the carpet. The date on the can was from May. I was kinda' proud of myself thinking that I will not have to clean up crap like that again.

Good job with your quitting, stick with it.

    Hey Marc1301

I was depoloyed with the 10th Mountain Division in south Florida after hurricane Andrew. Basically handing out food, cleaning, anything we could do to help. Many of the "immigrants", mostly Haitians, just had no motivation to do anything for themselves. Just sat in the mud and waited for the gubment to help them.

The native Floridians were some great folks and went out of their way to show their appreciation for the military and we truly enjoyed helping them out.

To make a long story short- The area around Homestake Florida after Hurricane Andrew was an amazing site with all the armed people walking around to protect from looters. It was truly an armed populace which kept the order as the military troops carried around rifles with no ammo. There was open carry everywhere!

Seemed to work in Florida but that idiot Nagin in La stole guns from citizens and look how that mess turned out.
I agree 100%,.....although thankfully I have been gone from S. Florida since 1990, and I lived in W.Palm at that point.

I understand about the Haitians, they started to get up my way before I left. Nothing to do with their "color" to me, but it is shown in actions. Want,........Give,..........Entitled. You get the drift.

What is truly sad is that folks that come here do not want to be a part of the American society any longer. Most want their own little enclaves within the US, and want no part of anything else besides the welfare payments.

I know that we have not had open carry here since the brief period I spoke of.
Now if you are on your own property, you can carry anything you wish openly.

We have a current movement heading towards the goal of open carry again, but I doubt it will pass.

If only all the states would simply abide by the US Constitution, we would not have all of these issues.

Sorry once again for my incorrect conclusion.[;)]
