I plant more trees these days that are insect pollinated, rather than wind pollinated, for that reason.

nearest tree to my house is 1/2 mile away. When the sagebrush kicks up I'm screwed with hay fever.[:(]

Don't you need leaves for pollen? None of that around here. Haven't seen a leaf in 5 months. Can't wait....couple more weeks

Our season is just starting up. This area is full of Ponderosa pine, Bull pine and a handful of other crap needle and pollen bleeding trees!

No you need flowers. Several of trees flower before leafing out.

Pollen has been horrible here, but we finally got some good rain today.

That will help for now, but it isn't done around here.
