How could it be a Wallyworld ring and have a bit of "CLASS"?
Another insane idea,,,in the days of insane ideas.
Yeah, no one wanting that ring graduated high school.
So far its been 9 years since my shadow darkened the door. I am sure they could care less but it makes me feel good.
ISIS would be proud of us eliminating part of our history.

Walmart is trying to prop up its slipping business...and its slipping faster than you think...
and their stock is up to 73.13 today, almost double in the last 5 years, I don't think they are hurting
Understand the store had a change of policy and they can sell or not sell whatever they want. Even so orders that were in-process should have been honored. Having broken their promise, Walmart should have to pay at least triple damages on top of the refund.
I figure they owe the woman another $960.
$320 for a class ring from Walmart? Has to be a rip-off in that deal somehow.

Exactly!!!!! If She bought the ring and took it home they wouldnt be asking Her to return it.What right do they have to keep it now

She has no damages, she was entitled to a refund because they didn't fulfill the order and she received it. Disappointment is part of life, its not something you can get damage awards for.
BTW I think it is idiotic, they should have given her the ring as ordered and just not taken any future orders if that it their store policy. Seems that they have brought much unneeded scrutiny and negative PR. Very short sighted on their Management's part.
Which is unfair. The company made an agreement. Nothing external to the company prevents fulfilling the terms of that agreement. To have the ordered item sitting there in a bag waiting final delivery is especially galling. This failure to perform to a contract was not caused by any supply or manufacturing issue. There is no cause for the failure outside of Walmart's total control.
There should be a punishment for failing to perform to a contract. I wouldn't award her the cost of a new house or anything out of scale like that. Keep it in scale to the failure to perform.
Triple the value is a typical amount. We see it in Arizona for some things.

I will yield to your obviously greater experience with a lack of education.
And will certainly call on you should I wish to drag a spinner lure behind a slow moving boat.

Every forum seems to have at least one member that serves no purpose whatsoever short of being an annoying azzwipe.
This one seems to be ours. I'm actually surprised that the Capt has allowed he/she to get by with it for so many years.
