    Some of the folks west of NOLA might disagree with you.

    I have never understood why they turned 'salt marshes' that are below sea level into a city,.....makes no sense to me at all.

    How many times are the taxpayers going to pay to rebuild this area, and those surrounding it?

    I pray there is no loss of life though.

    Plaquemines Parish is heavily flooded. Many homes are under 11 feet of water.
