Bills are generally sent to the Library of Congress from the Government Printing Office a day or two after they are introduced on the floor of the House or Senate. Delays can occur when there are a large number of bills to prepare or when a very large bill has to be printed.
They trying to keep what they are doing Secret.[:(!]

Magazines would be required to have serial numbers but not matching any rifle. That would absurd even for a liberal brain.

I read it top to bottom and I didn't see that. Which section are you referring to?
I think you should read it again.

Better not see NC or any of the other southern states on there.
Wait, I just saw some VA and a FL.
Look at all the states on there. Lots of NY, CT, CA, IL, NJ, all the blues.

One Oregon, He represents Portland which controls the state cause of their Population.
That list is not all inclusive. No CVA single shots listed, not all versions of every model listed (when most are)...so does that make them bad?
Marlin 336 models listed...except for mine. So I have a bad 336.
What is really bad is they specifically list "approved firearms"

One proposal I heard about specifically listed the 336 and it's variants as an "assualt weapon" because it was "capable of firing multiple projectiles through the simple manipulation of a mechanical device, to wit: a lever".
I thougth to myself, damn, that would include a pump or bolt action as well!

James Moran VA doesn't count...he's part of the DC crowd, so we don't count him as a Virginian...he's more of an *. [:D]
Moran introduced his own gun control bill in a different committee, Terrorism I believe most likely because he know Goodlatte is going to kill the AWB in the Judiciary Committee.
I just read the whole bill and saw that. Makes no sense to have a law banning semi auto asault rifles and then go to the trouble of having a list of all other guns not banned including lever, bolt, and single shots. Anybody else see this as a catch all and if it is not in the law as "allowed" it is illegal. That is the most frightening thing I have seen in the law so far. Also all they have to do is ammend it later to transfer more "bad" guns from the allowed list to the banned list. Smells bad to me!
and she specifically bans the mini-14CF model because it looks scary while all the other mini-14s and mini-30s are expressly exempted.
