No, I still have the Bronco (if you look the Bronco is in the back ground in the picture). I doubt I will get rid of it as it is still a strong runner with only 55000 miles on it. I just wanted a pickup to make it easier to haul stuff in without hooking up my trailer every time.

Plus I think this truck will get better milage than the Bronco.

I really am not on the internet much anymore. I got too many things going on and my daughter is now on a traveling softball team and I just stay real busy.[:)]

Always had a sweet spot for Ford trucks! My "new" truck just turned 200,000 miles. Been in the family since day one. (1970 F-100 Ranger XLT 390 3 speed, no power nutin').

After all the bail out stuff I will not own anything but a Ford. They were the ones who told the government to kiss their rear that they didn't want any bail out money.[;)]

I see from your profile that you were over there the same time I was during desert shield/storm. While you were protecting the dirt, I was off the coast, bobbing for mines on the USS New Orleans LPH-11. I was saddened to hear that they sunk her earlier this year. Spent 5 plus years on that ship. Glad to hear that that I'm not the only one on the planet that is a Ford fan! (1959 F-100 4x4 and 1962 Falcon club wagon also grace the driveway)

Nice Truck I got close to 400,000 out of my 2001 250 before the tranny went and the company sold it most expensive thing I ever had to do to it was the coil packs and brake about every 100,000. The van i'm driving now just turned 300,000 and still going strong

Good to see you post again.

Nice looking truck you have. 60 grand it is just getting broke in and ready to haul. Just remember to keep it out of the swamps.[:D]

Apparently these downsized late 1990's-early 2000's F150 2WD pickups are quite popular with the gay and lesbian crowd. I regularly drive past several gay bars on my way to the Spokane VA hospital and the parking lots are always full of these little trucks. One of the bars even has a sign advertising a weekly Cher lip-synching contest open only to F150 owners and their domestic partners.

Gee DWS, you sure know alot about gay bars! Are you trying to come out of the closet by giving us all your knowledge about them?

Of course everyone allready knew you prefered sheep, but what they didn't know is that you prefer male sheep![;)][:D]

That engine is rated as one of the best V8s ever made.

I'm impressed with it so far. I thought I might be disapointed with a little 4.6l but it seems to have more power than my 5.0l in my Bronco when running without a load. I have not had a load on it yet so I don't know how it will do with one but it doesn't seem like it will do bad.
