In the wood stove ashes, I dumped out in the woods, about 150' from the chalet. Had only been about 2-3 days, since last ash dump. Would have taken some pictures, but the weather is kinda crappy, rain, mixed flurries, wind.

We have had 4-6 bear, in our holler, last year or so, but the late frost, killed all the fruit tree blooms on pretty much everything around here.

The bears were not getting the late fall harvest they have had, last few years.

I'm pleased to see they are still around. Judging by size of track, I'd say 350lbs or so. About medium size, for what we have here.

Very clear prints, in fresh ashes. Nice to see them.
