I am just looking for the supreme deviled egg recipe or it can even be a basic one with onions and peppers.
Any off the wall ingrediens would be good too.

    Diced jalapenos are good if you like a little kick, pickle relish is popular here in the South as is a little finely diced celery.
    I take mine straight-up.....just the yolk and more or less equal parts mustard/mayo with a little paprika on top for "fancy" occasions. Boring, I know, but works for me.

    I especially enjoy the after-effects, especially if you eat 'em with BEER!........[}:)]

    My favorite is to start by frying a half pound of bacon, then throw the eggs away and enjoy.

    We have 21 laying hens, and we get on average about 16 eggs a day, so we make deviled eggs quite often.

    For six medium eggs, a dash of Salt & Pepper, 1/4 cup of Mayo & Mustard, add one tea spoon of juice from a jar of olives. You can use Dill Pickle juice in place of the olive juice. Try adding a dash of Paprika on top of each egg, it makes them look fancy.

    One thing...after you receive a satisfactory recipe (to your taste), put the yolks and the rest of the ingredients into a ziploc bag. Seal the bag. Mash it all together. With a pair of scissors, nip off a bottom corner of the bag. Squeeze the yolk mixture into the halved egg-whites like you would toothpaste from a tube. Throw the bag out. No mess. Best, Joe

    The secret is in cooking the eggs. Use JUMBO eggs for a nice big treat. Cover with water and bring to a vigorous boil. Cover tight and turn off the heat...let eggs cook in hot water for twenty minutes. This makes the yolks nice and soft for mashing.

    Drain the hot water, replace with cool water and allow eggs to at least become tepid.

    For about 6 whole eggs;
    melt two tsps butter in a bowl
    Slice eggs in half, remove yolks to bowl
    add; Tsp mayo, a little pepper, tsp of favorite mustard, tsp of pickle relish with juice. Mix well in bowl. I usually transfer the mix to a zip lock baggie for a vigorous kneeding to get the mix smooth. Snip a small corner off the baggie and squeeze the mix into the hollow eggs. Garnish with some Paprica, pickle slice, olive slice, etc.
