Good luck and stay safe Lonnie
Spc Ferguson, I just spent over two years in Iraq as a convoy driver and my last 9 months there was spent as a civillian C2 (CC/CL) but I am now heading to Kuwait to work as a mechanic for a different company. My time in Iraq has taken me to over 30 bases from TalAfar to Bucca, been on the Iranian border and as far west as TQ and AlAsad. Been there done that, experianced things I never thought I would have experianced, I know what it means to be scared, I know there is truth to the old saying that "You feel most alive when you think you are about to die". One of my favorite quotes, I read it on the wall of a portajon on camp TQ,
"Why tiptoe thru life only to arrive safely at death"
Dang Marines [:D][:D]
Some here have lit me up for going over there, ohh well, opprotunity knocked and I went, Army would not take me, I tried for two years so if this is how I can get to experiance what the soldiers experiance then so be it, besides it pays good and that Trans Am would not get finished had I stayed here as a dang truckdriver, aint no money in that game anymore! They say if you want something bad enough you will get it, well I got mine [:D]
here is a pic of me at work, getting a game plan set for a closed road with the C2 for the military.
