New beagle pups

Born on father,s day.We have as of 9:30 nine new pups! One of my hunting buds used my dog a stud. Red tick female, mostly open marked, and red and blue tick male. Both parents are awesome hunters . Most pups look open marked so should be much ticking. 9 out of 10 hunters around here have the tri-colors,black,white,tan, so these are pretty unique.

    i also run hounds now and then here in Ky. Ive never seen those type of hounds around here so can you post some pics? I bet rabbitts are thick down in virginia. they are pretty hit and miss around where i live

    Brickmaster, having a little trouble with the kodak software, i will post you some pics when i get this straightened out. Mother actually came from around Memphis. So i have heard, rabbits were thick in these parts 60 years back. 10 years ago they were very scarce but are making a comeback. Farming around here is declining, land does not get worked around here like it used to, better for erosion control, better for rabbit population.

    you use to be able to hunt railroad tracks around here but the law says you cant no more. That was where you could find the most rabbits.

    Have to compete with coyotes, bobcats etc,varmint hunters help with this. Red tail hawk is protected, but sometimes hunters forget[;)]
