Picked up my 7 year old grand son Sat to stay all night. Saw he needed a hair cut so we got that done. He said he would like to try to shoot a slug in his 410 so I bought him a box. 6:00 AM Sunday morning a little runt crawled in bed with me and said, "pap pa I want to go deer hunting" OH Lord!! 16 degrees! Found my old snow mobile suit, Ever try to stuff 10 pounds of poop in a 2 pound sack? It ain't pretty. Got him bundled up and all oranged out and away we went. Got about 50 yards into the woods and a buck and doe jumped up and ran like the wind. Thought I was gonna have to sit on him to keep him from shooting at them. We sat for about two hours and I talked him into going back to the house. He was happy though because he got to go deer hunting. He decided he wanted to try out the slugs so I let hem shoot them before we went in. At about 30 yards he hit a sheet of paper every time. Gonna have to buy him more slugs now and those things cost over $1.00 each!
