    Pigs fly when you shoot them from cannon or catapults. Or strap them to rockets.

    I think that's more like soaring than real flight. I'm sure a pig has been on a cargo aircraft though

    there is no need to get all cerebral about it. If a pig shot from a cannon went over my head on a high trajectory my first thought would be. "Damn thats a flying pig." Not "Damn there goes a soaring pig."

    Just remembering a joke from the late '80's when Jesse Jackson was running for president.

    Jesse asks God if a woman will ever be president. God says, "Not in your lifetime, Jesse."
