Walmart overcharging

Don't know if this happens at your local Walmart; but, it seems that I get overcharged about 50% of the time whenever I shop at our local Walmart. Today, I checked my receipt as I was leaving the store (as usual, I've learned) and noticed that I was charged 3 times for 1 item. Had to return to the customer service desk to get my reimbursement of $2.50.

Several times I've had them charge a higher price at checkout on an item that was marked a lower price on the shelf.

    Bar codes and retards! I've always been very careful of any discount store check out.

    this has nothing to do with walmart, except for that it happend to you there.

    this stems people not having any pride in their job. whether they be kids or adults.

    I don't shop at that place--if you have cable tv with On Demand check out the documentary in the free movies section about the predatory business practices of Walmart.[xx(]

    We have to go to Wal-mart on the off hours to avoid the mexicans, place is like a third world country adn they stock mexican stuff for them too
    Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

    when i worked at walmart, one of our managers told us that if the customer doesnt look like they are paying attention, to double scan.
    (beep it across twice) we got into a big argument about how that is screwing people over, he said if they dont watch, or check their receipt, they deserve to be screwed. shortly after that we parted ways.

    I've been over charged everywhere, thats why I watch and let the cashier know right away, saves time waiting in customer service lines DUH.

    But back on topic, it isn't just Walmart. It's anywhere you go. Happens on a regular basis.
