Wow, what a difference. It's almost a little disorienting after 2 years of hearing loss. I'm digging it though. Makes me realize how much I've been missing.

Aren't you kind of young for a hearing aid?

Actually, at first, I found the sounds of the world kind of annoying after the peace and quiet I had become accustomed to before getting my first hearing aid. But, after a few days, I got used to hearing again and it is pretty nice. Stick with it and enjoy the sounds. [:D]

It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

I'm 44. Kinda young for hearing loss I guess. Several years of playing in bands and of course shooting with out hearing protection.

For some reason I thought you to be younger Sav.
I played in a couple of amateur bands as well, but probably not as much as you. Shooting without protection, yes as well. Add in working around industrial machinery, and I am amazed my 'hearing' is still fine.

    The tinnitus stinks though.[xx(]

I'm happy to hear it's working for you, and chances are I will catch up before long being as I am 50.
