Made the short trip to Lubbock, TX last week and looked for some 22 ammo. Nice lady at the Walmart said she puts it out at 7:00 am, but on the mornings they get it the the customers (scalpers) know it before she does.
Went to Academy, they had several hundred rounds, limit one box. I got my one box, then went to Cabela's.
They had several thousand rounds, limit 500. Mostly CCI, Stingers and Mini-Mags and Standard Velocity, 7 cents per round. Most I've seen in years.

I bought some from gander mountain a couple days ago limit 250 rounds 6 cents a round but I bought some 380 also from them on sale and free shipping . any order over 25.00
just keep plugging away
Cabela's sells ammo online with FREE shipping to the store.
So you watch Cabela's online for .22 ammo, order it online and have it shipped for free to the store.
If you cannot get to the store promptly to pick it up, call them on the phone. They will hold onto it for you if you ask them to.
