Sig 1911's

I've been kicking around awhile about getting a Sig 1911. Anybody have one and if you do, the pros and cons. I own a couple Sigs already and know they are superior pistols, but haven't heard much on the 1911's. I like the full size reverse two tone model with the skelotinized trigger.

I've been told that you can only use SIG parts on them...which could lead to headaches if they quit making them.

I'm sure the quality is excellent.

They sure look sweet...and I hear the customer service is excellent. Also Sig has a stellar reputation.

I'd love to buy one, but I can't really help with your question about the pros and cons...

They have been making them for a long time and haven't quit yet. The bottom half of a Sig is no different then any other 1911 on the market.

It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books
