The pump will go down there, this is when they were blowing the well.

Forcing air down to create a cavity. According to the well driller I have enough water to run multiple houses.

He "blew" the well for forty five minutes and it never stopped spouting water.

    No sulfur no Iron.

I went today to install the 4*4*8 's for the electric meter base.

What a job, had to set the two 4*4's three feet deep, twelve inches apart.

Had to dig out enough soil in front of the meter base to set 2" PVC two feet deep for underground feeder. You would think that would be a snap.

The Clay soil is dry and hard as a brick, the well driller bent a 4" 20 foot bit when drilling the well.

I told the wife I'm not digging the trench to power the well, I'm going to rent a trencher. I'm not as young as I was 15 years ago when I hand trenched through the clay to set up another well a couple hundred yards away.

You'll have enough volume and pressure now to install a FERGUSON toilet. [:D]

unless he drilled it to be a reservoir well there is no cavity created ."blowing "the well causing a pumping action to get all the mud and silt out of the water from the drilling process. most wells have a screen at the end of the pipe string with small slits cut into it to filter the water .Course gravel is poured down around this point as it is called as an additional filter agent A cavity or reservoir well has an open pipe end and blowing does indeed open up a cavity or void around the end of the pipe string .I was taught that this was used when there was a very low water flow in the strata of rock/soil in which the well was drilled and a pool or tank of water was needed to get the desired flow

How deep did you have to go underground and how deep did you have to go into your pocket?

good question I don't know I guess what ever the capacity of the pump is. As I mentioned earlier when he "blew" it, it ran for 45 minutes with no sign of any less water.

That would be a great price around here.
I went 340 ft. through solid limestone. The driller said the worst thing is hitting a cave and losing a bit.
