the chemo is knocking the crap out of me.
I'm not sure if I wouldn't be happier w/o it.
probably not much difference in life expectancy either way.
mrs insists that i continue with it. still in denial.

My mom is in a nursing home, but we still own her house that we grew up in. Mom and dad bought it in '61.
We go check it out about once a week, usually stay an hour or less.
One day, a car pulled up and a man and a woman about 65 got out. She told us that she and her brother grew up there, too. She hadn't been back there in 40 years.
We let her come in and look around. It was a very emotional time for her and she thanked us profusely.
She walked around inside and out and told us and her husband stories about her childhood memories.
By the time she left, we were all crying.[8D]
