What opinions do you have on you or your companies carbon footprint? How much are you willing to spend to use alternative energy or conserve what you have? I personally will do what I can to help out such as recycle and conserve what I have until it costs me more to do it differently (such as paying extra to help subsidize wind or solar energy). With all the subsidies that are being paid to the companies who produce these products and the politicians that are trying to force them down our throats (Chevy Volt) it really pisses me off. The company that I work for has hired a sustainability coordinator who seems to get whatever she wants approved no matter what. We recently had a remodel and paid over $110K to save the rain water from our parking lots separate to flush our toilets[:0] The stated that if it worked perfect all the time it would not pay for itself in 165 years. What say you........

...I never give a seconds thought to the bogus carbon nonesense except for the $$$$$ its robs from me and every other American.

...Carbon footprint...Another bogus scam to be used by the Government to get more in the middle of our everyday lives and attempt to gain more control...[;)]

Common sense needs to prevail. Use wind where it is windy, solar where the sun shines,etc...etc

If it needs to be subsidized then by definition it is not sustainable. Carbon foot printing seems to be less useful than adopting an attitude of resourcefulness and resolution to not pollute.

Funny how when things actually become economical, some private outfit figures how to do it feasably. The jackboot footprint is the one I worry about
