...windows of our house. From my three seconds of viewing him from the hallway, I'd guess he's a 5 x 5 ("ten pointer" for some of you) or larger. By the time I got to the front door, he was already jumping a neighbors' rear fence. We have safety zones surrounding our small neighborhood, so shooting it would be out of the question. Now, archery is a different story and a whole lot quieter. [;)]

Coincidentally, I've been out several times this season in search of "that one buck" to bring home. Unfortunately, the pressure from all the other hunters in my region is making it more challenging. It looks like it will only be does for the freezer this year. I've got two more days left in the season to hunt. Perhaps it should be from my driveway with a bow. [:D]

Just leave the garage door open and either set a trap, or ambush...[;)]

The only really nice buck I've seen so far this year crossed about 150 yards from my stand traveling just subsonic across a clear cut area, so I didn't have a reasonable shot and passed! He appeared a couple more times as he headed away and towards the woods, but I never got a clean shot, so I again passed. I've passed on about seven legal bucks so far this season. We only need one deer for the freezer and I have several more weeks to hunt, so I'm waiting for some meat attached to a really nice set of antlers! [:D]

If you can't feel the music; it's only pink noise!
