reporters bounced from traveling with Obama

Even though they've been traveling with him from the start, reporters from the Washington Times, New York Post and Dallas Morning News have been kicked off Obama's campaign airplane.
Their seats were reportedly needed for 'network bigwigs' and reporters from Essence and Jet magazines.
These papers don't endorse Obama, but it's still an odd move to suddenly make right at the end of the campaign. Sounds like they might not think it's in the bag after all.

October 8th There was a comparison about how both campaigns treat the press on the airplanes and Obama's camp was much ruder towards the Press in general.

it's a pretty good article on the inside view treatment of both campaigns re: the Press. here's a small bit of the article.
quote:The McCain campaign plane is better than Obama's, which is cramped, uncomfortable and smells terrible most of the time. Somehow the McCain folks manage to keep their charter clean, even where the press is seated.
The drudge report covered this as well today.
