    so six single moms from Chicago stopped by with there kids [:D]
    we always enjoyed passing out candy at my parents house ( they lived in town so we would take our kids and go ) nothing like seeing the excitement of the kids on Halloween .

    500+ kids , teens and adults. Tons didn't even bother to dress up[B)] Next year those kind are getting an extra special surprise if they are adults (I can understand a poor kid but not some mooching adults). They came in by the van load..but the city blocks them from parking close so they have to walk in to our neighborhood. Wife took our girls around the neighborhood and they had fun. I just posted up in the driveway with a fire pit and had music from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion ride playing.

    Wow. Over 500? Can't imagine. It was a zoo around here with half that many. Trucks pulling trailers down the street unloading kids at the corner.

    About 99% were polite. Maybe 95% said thank you. Around 75% avoided walking on lawn. Around 90% had real attempt at costume. A few teenagers but they were in costume and polite. All in all a good night.

    The wife said she ran out of candy and had to turn off the light.
    She said she did save me some Twix. [:D]
    Said all were polite but no good ole homemade costumes with any thought.

    Loads of kids, all of them said thank you, lots of familiar faces. All the neighbors hanging out in the court drinking coffee and hot cider.

    Man, I sure am glad I live in the Boonies!!!! Buy our favorite candy for Halloween, no kids show up out here in the sticks; my wife and I get to eat the candy, ahh shucks!!!! [:D]
