with that aside , I do wish them well with there new degrees and hope they all succeed in life . and set examples
I hope his parents can get their money back for his 'edumacation'. It has done him no good.
as i have said many times before, they are not interested in equality, they want superiority
Wish they would make up their mind they don want segregation and then they do. Lets just bring back slavery seems they might need that.
They want segregation, but they want to be at the front of the bus, not the back. Front!

They can keep the bus for all I care.

I don't defend the separation nor the concept of racial divide with intent. But, the school has a mechanism in place to allow for such circumstances and the requirement that the group requesting such be required to pay the costs.
It might be time for the DOJ to make its presence known with a public investigation.
Best.
just keeping the racist machine going, that way they are special
as i have said many times before, they are not interested in equality, they want superiority
As long as we can keep them and their totally racist way of life on the skyline for all the world to see, the better off the world will be. Bank on it.
Poor blacks on the other hand get minimum recognition unless it can be used for propaganda to further their cause of to saying all whites are racist. It's a win win for them and they need special protection from the Government forever.[:D] White policemen better understand this.
serf
I say good for them, I love it when a plan backfires.....now the Whites can have a "lilly white" graduation for themselves [:D]
that would be racist [V]
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I can't see how this affects me in the least.
Agreed, Mr. P. It seems the student organization paid for this additional ceremony, so it seems to not affect anyone who does not choose to be affected.

The separate ceremony won't affect anyone not in attendance. I hope none of us are naive enough to think that the attitude that hatched the separate ceremony and will be nurtured by it will be as inconsequential.

I might agree had these students demanded the university pay for the additional ceremony, Dads3040. As they did not, one could argue that the very way it was done nurtures a recognition that a group should be responsible for those things they want that are outside the norm. I am hard pressed to see a downside for a group (particularly one that is full of members that self-identify as being oppressed and disadvantaged) taking the initiative to celebrate success.

A sad thing to see would be that bus going over a cliff ................ with an empty seat.
