i had this gun when I was a kid...I got it in like 63 for christmas shot all the little white bullets into the snow and lost them til spring... if i remember right it came apart and made into a pistol, rocket launcher, and a few other things...it was cool. the company made other guns based on a theme, they had a mugumbo which was a safari rifle and they made a winchester copy too (if I remember right)
I am so happy to see that picture I could never remember who made that gun or what it was called...thanks for the memories[:D]

cartods: Is your Browning .22 signed by the engraver?
Yes it is, DC.
Great. It sure is a beautiful combination. Do you have a Browning or Redfield scope for it too? What kind of scope is on it?
Redfield scope is on it.
Wow Mark! By the way, my sister is a mormon and she has done alot of geneology, I just found out that we are closely related,[:0][:D] so can I come over to your house to play![:D][:D][:p][:p][:D] I would post pics of mine, but they all sunk with the boat.[:(][V]
I thought about it, but my meager collection does not begin to stack up to some here...I guess I know where my investment money needs to go...
I did get my CZ today, I was delayed for 12 hours apparently. Maybe next time I buy something it will get a proceed immediately. and I have something esle to buy ammo for, I wonder how it likes wolf?

for those wondering these are all guns i owned at one time. most have been sold to pay medical bills for the little guy ( my youngest ) when he got realy sick at 3 days old two years ago. the ones i didnt sell only about 4 fell of the boat last week when i was out fishing for supper. Now i have to admit i cried when having to sell some of these. guns are my babys. but I my sons come first and always will. Still to this day i only have two rifels and one pistol and one shotgun. I feel a tear run down my face when i think of what guns i had to get rid of. but i have to kids and would and have gotten rid of every thing of vaule that i have to make sure he'a going to be ok.
1894 Winchester .30WCF-it has the wrong carbine stock instead of the crescent one but I like it-especially since I only paid $375 for it[:D] It does have an odd stamped serial number
1960's era Marlin .30/30 that was a total beater that I paid $100 for. It's former owner had tried to carve an animal motiff into the stock and ended up ruining it and the front stock had chips missing, it was missing the front sight hood-it was the 24" barrel that had some rust at the end. Well I wanted one of those cool guide guns so I decided to make one. I put on new stocks, had the barrel cut to 16 1/2" and put an 11 degree crown, and had Marbles sights put on(like on the Cowboy rifle).
When Tom Siatos designed this cartridge he was an editor for Guns & Ammo magazine so he named it the .460 G&A in the interest of sucking up for job security. I was never enthralled with the name and since it uses the .404 Jeffrey case I started calling it the .460 Jeffrey. I think the barrel is stamped G&A, though.
I agree. I always thought that ".460 G&A" was kind of clunky. .460 Jeffery sounds much better and gives a nod to its historically significant parent cartridge.

Or a Remington Model 30S custom built into a 460 Jeffery?
Here's one you don't see too often. A "Star" Rolling Block in 30-30 with a 17" barrel. Talk about a compact rifle.
