I will have up for auction soon, due to heavy rains its been a bit slow on growth, I know 5 other gardeners in my are that has been wiped out by the excessive rain we have had, but due to the way my garden is, it escaped the wrath

I will have small flat rate boxes of

CAROLINA REAPER, the worlds hottest pepper

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina_Reaper

and as always

RED GHOST PEPPERS

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhut_jolokia

I will try to keep the prices down, but the market this year is high, ill keep up with it when mine are ready and maintain competitive

    real soon

    I just paid a night visit to my garden, and man oh man are they loaded {its easier to see them at night because they are glossy}

reapers are very full, I been keeping up with fleabay and they are getting 50 bucks for a small flat rate box, that's just crazy, 20 bucks plus shipping for 5 peppers, I probably have 1,000 easy

red and yellow ghost are coming in, first run usually are smaller and I wont sell them because I only sell what I feel best represent the strain

I am particularly excited about my hybrids, this is my second year and third generation of a ghost and reaper x breed, they are huge ghost peppers with tails, 4 more generations and I have a stable viable "sellable" unique pepper, I will have it tested for scoville units, wish me luck

My peppers, all except the banana and jalape?o, are looking weak right now. I also had to pull up most of my summer squash because I think it has black rot. I was looking forward to some good yellow squash. I got to eat a few and maybe I'll get a few more but the majority are gone.

with all the moisture it typical to get black spot, about 10 of my plants got it, neem oil is all natural and it takes care of it quick, along with rust, powdery mildew, spidermites and aphids

All my stuff is in pots, lots of em. I have a bunch of various peppers, and several are a couple years old. Those put out peppers, months ago. Last year, my little, yellow, Habaneros tasted fantastically, but were almost heat-less. I think this yr will be my first, successful, full sized, tomatoes in pots. I got Big Boy plants due to some discussion, maybe here.

I have a few that I indoor and replants outside each year, those are rocking, just not enough to supply anyone but me

peppers don't container well due to the fact they like cooler roots, I have a 3 year old ghost that I did not replant this year, there is an extreme difference in its peppers vs the ones in the ground, that's why I use silver mulch , it keeps the roots cool and requires half the water

I'm definitely checking out that Neem oil. Probably too late for this years garden but I'll have it on hand for next year.

16" of rain in 10 days at the beginning of last month pretty much stunted all my hard work germinating and indoor nurturing mine until transplant this year. they are 1/5 the size they should be, probably won't get but a fraction of normal years[V]

let me know when the reapers are ready[}:)]

I still have the ones I dried of yours last year. Some were so loaded with hot oil they wouldn't dry out and turned into leather peppers :)

I cut them with a razor to eat slivers with cheese.

Wife and I saved some much milder banana peppers tonight fellow was on his riding mower cutting them down. Wife stopped and saved what was left. I can't imagine why he would grow them and then mow em under but he said he was threw with them.
Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!
