I finally checked my portfolio for the first time in 6 months.
It was still down 40% overall but up 13% in recent trading. Looks like I will gain back this year what I lost last year.

I sure hope you know when to get out. Hype-Inflation will destroy the dollar and your stocks will be worthless.

Screw me once, your fault. Screw me twice, my fault.

Pat Robertson claimed our economy was going to turn around...we shall see. I sure hope it does...and soon!

bE very CAREFULL....the market is extremely dangerous and volatile now and it would not be out of the question to see the bottom drop out with an impact worse than we just experienced recently

Hope we are on the upswing. But I am of the opinion that easy access to a portfolio was a big contributor to our recent problems. Instead of somebody that knows what to look for and understand how things work, it's Average Joe looking every hour and fretting about what might happen if he doesn't move his money, right now, becasue two hours ago, he could have made a great deal of money, and if he doesn't act now, he's a sucker

I never buy stock in one company. I have lost to much money doing it that way and now only buy high performing mutual funds. I am more about spreading higher risk stocks out with several stocks at one purchase price.

    Yes, GE too! [:D]

They won't jump like Apple did over the last ten years,
but one never knows what Ford will do once the Fusion Hybrid comes out.

There are some bargains in the stock market if you look hard enough and do some research. First of April I invested in four different stocks.
As of the first of May my investment doubled.
